The Atlantic City Historical Museum preserves and interprets the layered history of Atlantic City, a truly unique seaside resort town. Though it features a range of changing displays, as well as the Al Gold Photography Gallery, its dominant feature is a permanent exhibit with a miniature boardwalk and beach area. There, 100 years of city history unfold through artifacts, costumes, photographs, postcards, and even an assemblage of Miss America memorabila. The museum lies on the downtown waterfront, next to the Atlantic City Art Center.
